Both options are good, but I prefer Dexterity.

There are Dexterity training manuals, you can go through them. You can find them inside dexterity folder.

I am working with GP and Dexterity very long, you can say more than a decade. Yes, I can develop my own, give you good suggestions and can able to do advance level of  customization, but it doesn't mean I know everything, But I can go and look for everything.

I have worked with macro but not conditional macros. In similar kind of work where conditions and validations are needed I usually use dexterity to write macro programmatically.
